Arrival, Departure and Bus Schedule

Arrival and Drop-Off

Students may be dropped off at school starting at 7:35 a.m. There is no adult supervision prior to 7:35 a.m. Between 7:35 and 8:00 a.m., students may go to the playground or breakfast areas.

The instructional day starts promptly at 8:00 am. A warning bell is rung at 7:55 a.m. Parents are asked to leave the classroom by 7:55 to allow teachers and students time to begin their day as a class.

For their safety, students may not be dropped off or picked up in the staff parking lot or in the red zone on Laguna Street. Students may be dropped off in the white zone on Laguna Street. It is prohibited to park or leave your vehicle in the white zone.

There is an additional drop-off and pick-up site at Emerson Street, above the campus. Adult supervision is provided at Emerson Street from 7:35 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.

Departure and Pick-Up

Students who are not picked up by 2:20 p.m. will be brought to the main office.

Bus Stops

Roosevelt has one school bus route. Any student within the Roosevelt attendance district may ride the school bus. Intra- and inter-district transfers must provide their own transportation. Bus schedules are available in the main office.
